Project Management

Westhaven Park Phase II:

This project contained two noncontiguous parcels consisting of approximately 8 acres in total. Scheduled to be a variable income-housing complex, the privately developed site required demolition and total reconstruction of a former Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) low income-housing complex. Site design consisted of new parking lots, grading, storm water detention and major utility design and coordination.

Westhaven Park Infrastructure required preparation of Construction Documents for eleven residential streets and eleven alleys. Five of the streets were newly constructed, four were resurfaced and two were reconstructed. One alley was reconstructed and ten were new construction. Funded by the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) this project required Plan and Profile Design of more than one mile of streets and over a half mile of alleys. New curbs and gutters along with a complete drainage design were required for this project
