Englewood Permanent Supportive Housing
Civil engineering design was provided for a LEED Initiative site on Chicago’s south side. The project consisted of a six story, 99-unit residential building for the homeless on a 33,200 square foot lot. A 50% green roof, 3 rain gardens, 2 bioswales and permeable paving were part of the green design. Also included was site detention that captured nearly 100% of all rain water.
